Implant in position
Dental implant

Implants are made of titanium and can be placed surgically in a space where either there are no teeth present, or one or more teeth have had to be extracted. This can allow bridges or even dentures to be replaced with fixed “new teeth” on strong and long-lasting supports (implants) embedded in the jaw bone in a similar way to your own natural teeth.

It is not always possible to place implants in every patient, so you will need a careful assessment beforehand to assess your suitability for treatment.

When successfully completed, this surgical technique gives the best long term solution to replacing missing teeth.
